Hello there! I'm Julie Dawson, a multi-disciplined visual designer, and illustrator who specializes in using technology and creativity to solve problems, create more inclusive designs, and help people connect with their audience by illustrating their stories, aligning them with their mission, and creating expressive, eye-catching, and successful visual identity systems. I thrive on finding solutions when a product or website frustrates users. I recently developed a recipe app for Wunderbar (a local German bar and restaurant), designed to help employees make their recipes more consistent by giving them easy access to consistent recipes. I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself with you. My loved ones describe me as outgoing, independent, loyal, motivated, kind, caring, and non-judgmental. I'm fiercely determined and always willing to lend a hand during moments of happiness and need. I live in Northern Kentucky, just over two miles from the Ohio River and Cincinnati, Ohio. My passion for human rights fuels my drive to make a positive impact in the world in any way possible. I'm continuously seeking ways to learn, grow, and improve as a person. I cherish every opportunity to connect with others and am grateful for every chance to learn. Outside of work, you can usually find me on the dance floor, grooving to live bluegrass music, or contemplating what to do with my vast hat collection. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better!
