Framed airbrush and mixed-media image of the Cincinnati Skyline.
I was Impressed with the way the colors glow onto the Ohio River at nightfall and the blues in the night sky above the skyline. I had been practicing using an airbrush the previous quarter and wanted to find a summer project to continue working with the airbrush.
The final illustration has been completed on a full sheet of 30" x 40" double-thick illustration board. Airbrushed in acrylic airbrush paint lettering and some details painted with a brush dipped into the acrylic airbrush paint to retain the transparent feel. Later I mounted and framed it in a red metal frame under archival glass.
