As the lead designer, I was to design a campaign for an exhibition at the SCAD Museum of Art including identity, graphics standards, exhibit, environmental graphics, literature, and packaging, that must fit in the SCAD Museum of Art and be completed in four weeks. I began by photographing the exhibition areas of The SCAD Museum of Art and the city of Savannah to use for mockups then I created the graphics and literature lastly, I began setting up the packaging for the pamphlet and the gift shop item. I have felt drawn to Kara Walker's work since the first time I saw it, and I have a much higher appreciation for her work after this project. I bought a Silhouette machine to make the precise cuts that the project required.

I referenced my mood board throughout the project, for inspiration

"I like the clackety-clack of the typewriter. It's as if it answers. There's a thought, and you put it down, letter by letter, and it answers back." ~Kara Walker
I discovered stamps that resembled typewritten words to create the signage.
